GENERAL PROPERTIES OF SPONGY SILICONE

• Wide range of service temperature, between -60°C and 260°C.
• Better mechanical properties, working at high temperatures, than other rubbers.
• Good resistance to ozone, rusting and outdoors.
• Moderate resistance to hydrocarbon fluids.
• Has fire-resistant properties and, even in case of combustion, they leave silicic anhydride as residue, which is an excellent electrical insulator.
